AeroRescue

AeroRescue is a ‘special mission’ aircraft operator, supplying dedicated long range, fixed wing aircraft for the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA). This provision is a ten-year contract, with operations conducted from four separate locations throughout Australia, using the state of the art Dornier 328-120TP Aircraft.

The AeroRescue workforce consists of approximately 120 specialist staff and support personnel. An impressive array of infrastructure, specialist training and expertise makes the AeroRescue operation the best choice for a broad range of missions.

There are four established bases with trained aircrew, a SAR equipment store, engineering support, training cells, and the large array of business equipment required for a modern aviation establishment. Our specialist equipment is of the same calibre as that on board military aircraft.

AeroRescue maintains a strict response time – crew in the aircraft and taxiing within 30 minutes by day and 60 minutes by night after the receipt of an activation phone call from the Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) in Canberra. As a result of the unremitting commitment of Paspaley Aviation and the professionalism and dedication of the AeroRescue team, many lives have been saved.
